GRETTA ZILLER RELEASES ROCK STOMPER FROM
HER ACCLAIMED QUEEN OF BOOMTOWN ALBUM
Diverse singer-songwriter, Gretta Ziller, known for her alt country/Americana stylings, has roots that span across genres. Always looking to push the boundaries, Ziller included rock stomping Let It Go on her critically acclaimed debut album, Queen of Boomtown, out through Social Family Records.
The fourth single from the album, Let It Go is an upbeat track inspired by the rock influences from Ziller’s youth, such as Tom Petty & The Hoodoo Gurus, blended with her current influences, including JD McPherson and Lucinda Williams, and demonstrates the Melbourne-based artist’s musical prowess and assured sense of melody.
“Let It Go is about not living with regret,” says Ziller. “I always get a great response at shows when I perform this track live, so I chatted with my label manager, she started go-go dancing, and we agreed to get it out there. Hopefully everyone else likes it as well!”
