Host Gretta Ziller at Your House!

For you, your friends, your house concert crew, your dog …. whoever you’d like to invite

Before you apply there’s a few things you should know about house concerts.

WHAT YOU NEED

* People to invite! House Concerts are ‘organised’ by the host, this means they have people to invite. The performer, in most cases, doesn’t advertise these shows as they are in private dwellings.

* A space in your house suitable for a group of people to sit and listen to music. I have performed in lounges, verandahs, backyards, courtyards & even work sheds so whatever space you have we can make it work!

* Many house concert hosts provide food for their guests, this is totally up to you though.

* Generally you don’t need permission from your council to put on a house concert, but it is polite to either invite and/or warn the neighbours 😉

* Occasionally house concert hosts provide accomodation for their musical guests as often times we travel long distances to get to you.

WHAT I PROVIDE

* Me!

* But also, a PA system if needed, depending on your room size and the number of guests we may need a PA.

* If it’s your first time I’m more than happy to walk you through the process.

* Again, depending on your house concert experience & the fee we’ve organised (see below)  I am able to set up the ticketing information and accept credit card transactions for those that purchase on the night.

OTHER THINGS TO KNOW

* House Concerts can be held any morning, afternoon or evening of the week. Whatever works for you and your network we can organise.

* The event will run for approx 2 hours . An example of a running time would be;
Guest arrival 6:00pm
Show starts 6:30pm
Interval 7:15pm
Second set 7:45pm
Show Ends 8:30pm

* Fees, also known as the awkward moment where we talk about money!  Reach out and we can be awkward together!

Finally, please note these are House Concerts.

The expectation is that you and your guests will sit and listen as you would at any ticketed venue. If it is new to you please let your guests know what to expect on the night.
